¿Quién se benefició por el descubrimiento de América? ¡Ciertamente no fueron los nativos! A ellos les quitaron sus tierras y sus recursos. Los mataron haciéndolos trabajar duro. Los mataron con las enfermedades que trajeron
los europeos al nuevo mundo. ¿Qué es lo
que celebramos en el Día de La Raza? ¿La explotación?
Yo sugiero que toda persona que reconozca que en este día no hay nada
que celebrar, que proteste en el Día de La Raza. Yo sugiero que toda persona de buena fe
debemos de protestar o marchar el lunes, 12 de octubre de 2015 por la descolonización
mundial.
La Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) está en su tercera década
tratando de erradicar el colonialismo del mundo, desde que lo catalogó como una
amenaza a la paz mundial. La ONU lo
considera un crimen en contra de la humanidad desde el 1960. Sin embargo, todavía existen, hoy mismo, 17
colonias.
La más grande y más antigua colonia es Puerto Rico. El gobierno de Estados Unidos engaño a la ONU
para sacar a Puerto Rico de su lista de colonias en el 1953. Aunque todavía Puerto Rico no aparece en
dicha lista, la ONU celebra anualmente una vista para la descolonización de
Puerto Rico. Este año, la vista será el lunes, 22 de
junio de 2015 en la ONU en Nueva York.
Una protesta mundial en el Día de la Raza causará una tremenda presión
para los imperios para descolonizar.
Obviamente, ellos nunca descolonizaran por su cuenta, ya que quieren
seguir explotando a sus colonias. ¡Por
lo tanto, tendremos que estar determinados a seguir protestando anualmente
hasta triunfar, porque, los que mantienen colonias no creen en la justicia para
todos!

Who benefitted from Columbus
Day? Certainly, not the Native Americans!
They got their lands and other resources taken away. They were worked to death, or killed. They died from diseases not known to them
until then. So what is this celebration
about? Exploitation?
I suggest that all people who
recognized this day is nothing to be proud of should protest on Columbus Day. I suggest that people of good will all over
the world should instead march and protest on Monday, October 12, 2015 for the
decolonization of the world.
The United Nations (UN) is in
its third decade trying to eradicate the world of colonialism, since it
determined that it is threat to world peace in 1960. The UN classified colonialism as a crime
against humanity. Yet, there are still
17 colonies existing today!
The biggest and the oldest colony
is Puerto Rico. The United States
government deceived the UN into removing Puerto Rico off the UN’s list of
colonies in 1953. Although today, Puerto
Rico remains off that list, the UN holds an annual hearing to discuss the
decolonization of Puerto Rico. This
year, the hearing will be on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the UN in New York City.
Protesting all over the world
on Columbus Day will put a tremendous pressure on all empires to immediately
decolonize. Obviously, they will not
decolonize on their own, since they want to continue exploiting their
colonies. So we must therefore be
determined to continue to protest annually until we succeed because, those who
maintain colonies don’t believe in justice for all.
